i'm still amazed, how many ppl get "owned" by hardware sellsman (or e-bay sharks). I had a cuple of bad experiences myself :S. Well, didnt happen often since i've got my own internet connection, cause i always ask for the opinion of MIGHTY GOOLGE *all hail and bow* xP

anyway, funny thing, reminds me of an hd i bought via 'thingy similar to e-bay' - it was scsi and thus useless to me (a shame, actualy ).

My sister was phished on ebay over an E-Mail (got the Password from my sister)
It was a chinese people.

Conclusion: 250 Euro wasted


And what can ebay do in China, trace this people haha LOL!!!!


I buy only from ebay shops with instant buy option, as yet i got allways 100% good hardware.
But from shops it costs more then used^^

Well normally I get ok stuff from vendors, but in this case I bought 3 controllers from 2 different vendors and was screwed both times. Actually I even got one replacement controller but it was also bugged. So that is 4 controllers with faults in a row.

Just to make sure it wasn't something else on my test system, I rummaged in my hardware bag and pulled out a fifth controller of the same type (same chip) and put it in. That fifth controller was bought half a year ago. Guess what, that one worked flawlessy on all ports!

I don't think the vendors are to blame here, they just buy hardware and sell it again. We probably have a large bad batch from the manufactorer here, so either VIA or someone in the fabrication line made a major screwup. Replacing the faulty units won't help because all you get as replacements are more faulty units from the same batch. All you can do is wait another 6 months and try again, or better yet, wait a year!

I have had too many problems with E-burp and the rest of them, to even think of buying anything electronic over them.
