I've read both lotr and the hobbit.. Still need to listen to that Silmarillon audio book..Also the hitchhiker stuff, in which some parts were totally beyond me..That Starship Titanic thing was terrible though :O

WOOAH!!!!!!! SLow down. I missed allot. I just watched the trailer of "The WItcher" WOW!!!!!! I can not wait for the movie to come out. Just the trailer got my fantisies roaring.

@ Wolf... HEHE, if it starts with the same 3 letters, it will still do the same thing, I think. Americans have a drug for all pains and illnesses, and then there are the "cheaper" brands, with the same ingredients.... :-/

I read allot of books, Hitch Hickers Guide was one of the coolest, because I had the game o the Commodore 64, and it played just like the book. God, I am old. Most of you PEEPS out there, have no idea what a Commodore was/is. (And to those of you that do know, be smart, and paly stupid, )

There was a text adventure yes, I think that was for the pc. I think you can still download those adventures legally for free somewhere.

@ CEE: Yeah man, I know that the trailer was for a game, I was saying, that like X-Men, it WOULD make a nice movie. Sorry for the misunderstanding. And the game was just that, take key, open door.... I think I made it to the BABBEKLFISH in the space ship, and had to give up. But I would love to play it again... and now to the man who said he saw it somewhere...

@Frank: Yes, I'm waiting for the game for more than a year already. I'm a great fan of medieval RPGs and this game is gonna be awesome! Btw.: I'm an old C64 and Amiga freak as well. I wrote several assember demos on both. Man, I miss these times...

Hmm..The Last Wish..oh yes, but there is a deal:
Sapkowski first made 4 books about Witcher tales The Last Wish and The Sword of Destiny and The Witcher, "Something ends something begins" (translated to English ) and which aren't the main story its some kind of introduction to the big adventure. After these 4 tomes, he wrote 5 books of saga about Witcher what tells about adventures of Witcher and companions on the way of rescue lost girl Ciri (the little girl who Witcher loved) and also her adventures and it tells about big war of 4 united kingdoms against Nilfgaard. Unfortunelly Coco you will have to wait long time till 5 saga books will be translated to german (or maybe it is already translated, if yes the BUY IT!). "The Last Wish" is only collection of some tales about Witcher, Geralt, but saga (saga is those 5 books of adventures) its 4 times better.

OK if you didn;t understand me so I will explain it in easier way, look;

The Witcher novel toms:

-The Witcher "Wiedźmin"
-The last wish "Ostatnie życzenie"
-The sword of destiny "Miecz przeznaczenia"
-Something ends, Something begins "Coś się kończy, coś się zaczyna"


The saga:

-Blood of the Elves (Krew elfów) (1994)
-Time of Disdain (Czas pogardy) (1995)
-Baptism of Fire (Chrzest ognia) (1996)
-The Swallow's Tower (Wieża Jaskółki) (1997)
-Lady of the Lake (Pani Jeziora) (1999)
