Pc had a sunstroke

40 degrees is OK. But the plug getting hot, is not. Could it be your power source?

It is really a very_hot summer.

Try Tarring in this weather. I have been doing it since Thursday. You get used to the heat up to about 30 degrees and then after that, you can hardly catch your breath.

My computer is in the basement, and yes it is about 24 degrees down here and I love it. My CPU fan does not even run.

Normally if an electrical contact looks like that it means that it's resistance was to great, causing a lot of heat dissipation in a spot that would normally dissipate no heat at all, because it's electrical resistance would be near 0 ohms. A bad electrical contact would be my first guess looking at the pictures.

Well i have it running but the plug is still running hot
So i won't be using it since i don't trust it won't go up in flames.

Just gotta wait for my new mobo / psu and gpu .. should be in end of this week start of the next
