xfire is a good gamer chat. It's similar to aim/msn and all that as far as chatting goes. But you are able to see who is playing what game, save your favorite servers in certain games and programs (like ts). Has most features of aim/msn like file-sharing, mics, group chats...as far as i know it doesn't do cams. What I also like about it, is you can have custom skins for it too.

When I found out about it, it replaces all other chat programs for me =P

Xfire lacks an option to search for ppl based on game interest. What good is a "game chat" program, if you cant look up fellow gamers and instead are only able to add friends you already know ? I HAVE NO FRIENDS, DAMNIT !! ;_;

Maybe then its a useful application.. Until then its basically useless if you dont know anybody who uses it (and if your games dont support it correctly -_-) :/

most games do. I dunno if u1 does or not. I have gold, and gold version isn't on xfire. Works fine for 2k4 and other games i play though. (like lineage 2, guild wars)

Doesnt even support ingame chat in football manager 2006.. Weak :/
