Personally I do not experience problems with my changing IP. I usually surf via anonymous proxy servers, but when I switch back to my local connection I stay logged in. Only wen I copy my Firefox profile to my computer at work I have to re-login.

So in short: a changing IP should not be the cause alone.

You may want to re-read THIS:
http://www.phpbb.com/kb/article.php?article_id=54

However, it seems the subject changed a bit and they are planning or already have changed the code to only check partial IP changes, which would fix my problem. So maybe with the next update they are speaking of the whole thing is past....

The proxy did not work at all btw. But the IP change -is- the problem no doubt.
