CRITICAL: Worm virus is attacking phpBB sites and forums

A Web worm that identifies potential victims by searching Google is spreading among online bulletin boards using a vulnerable version of the program phpBB, security professionals said on Tuesday.

This is the cause of the problems at UnrealDestination and hosted forums, including the HyperCoop forum.

Read the news link. The attack defaces the website and deletes data.

It seems that Google no longer accepts queries from the worm, to stop or delay the worm from further spreading.
